As a writer, I’ll admit that I really enjoy the conversations I create with my fictional friends. When I was a child, I created stories about my imaginary ghost. My mother worried about me. I knew they were just stories, but she wasn’t sure. Now I occasionally mix my characters with real people and places for a touch of reality and fun. I do so with the consent of the real people. Too bad they can’t “see” my characters as I see them. If they could, we could all have enlightening conversations. I could even introduce Henry the Ghost.
