I’ll admit it. I was terrified of submitting my novel to a publisher. That fear increased after I completed my second book. I felt that the second book was better. I started as a technical writer with the first book, but by the second, I had become a novelist. That meant that I needed to return to the first book and add depth and expand my characters. It worked, but it didn’t lessen the fear when I hit that submit button.
I was shocked when I opened the email with an acceptance. I am still in shock, but now I actually have something to put into my author blog. Next up: meeting the expectations of my new editor!
