Mom has done it again. I want to post on Sundays and Wednesdays, but we haven’t been doing that. I know that today is Monday. That is the day after Sunday. I knew what I wanted to say, but she kept telling me “Later.” Monday is clearly later. I love her, but sometimes she disappoints me. I really should have expected such treatment. She was gone for most of the day on Saturday. That usually means she will be tired the next day. She left early in the morning to drive to some place called Pecan Gap for a Ladies Club Craft Fair. Why would an author want to offer her books at a craft fair? She said it was an opportunity to meet new people who might be readers. It turns out there were readers there as well as members of a area library board who think it might be nice to have her come there to talk about her writing. That probably means she will be gone on a Wednesday when she should be helping with my blog posting! Actually, it is rather nice to see her getting out to meet new people. She said that the world seemed to shrink when Dad passed. She needs an expanded world to find the words for her stories. Best part is that since she dictates them, she can hold me while she does that. We are in this writing thing together.
