Part 106 – Daylight Savings Time

Mom is not happy with me. I decided that I need to make certain she is responding to my steps to train her to feed me at 4:15 AM. After I sat on her chest and kissed her nose, she dutifully got out of bed. It was our new normal (I had used 5:15 for months.) She put food in my bowl and started her coffee before I heard her muttering about Time Change. This made no sense until she got the step ladder to change the time on one her clocks. She muttered more about 3:15 being just plan wrong. I’m not sure I understand, but I think I might need to got back to that 5:15 time or maybe even later. I knew she was tired and went to bed early last night as did Dad. I think it had something to do with Dad’s slow recovery from his new pacemaker. He doesn’t like have the oxygen tube in his nose, but Mom said he has to keep using it for now. I really hope he gets some energy back again. I know Mom worries about him.

I looked outside and it is still really dark. Does this have anything to do with the end of Daylight Savings Time for the season? I’ll keep you posted. Now I’ll share another picture from our trip. This was in the Badlands. I think they are called sheep. I just know they don’t look like something Miko and I want to play with. Missy might want to chase them, but she doesn’t always have good sense.
