Mom needs to focus more on her writing. She has two books as works in progress. For the new mystery, she is up to Chapter 10. For the romance, she is still on Chapter 1. She seems to forget about them for weeks on end. She also needs to be reminded that Wednesdays and Sundays are days she should be devoted to writing about me! I know that if she would just focus, my blog would be even better. I’d really like to see her assemble all of it into a book about my life. This could be her first best seller, but does she focus on that? No!

Lately, she has focused more on pulling out her camera to take more pictures. She told me that at one point, she could spend hours taking what she calls “art” pictures. I say they are just weird pictures of “stuff.” She is back to spending far too much time trying to take those types of pictures. It was okay when she took my picture, but this week it is pictures of tree branches. Really? Today she played with camera functions to take those pictures in black and white. It is fine that she wanted them in color, but black and white seems so wrong. That old TV show that had the lion see in black and white was one thing, but the cat world needs to be in color!
