Part 53 – Being a Talking Cat

One of Mom’s author friends commented that Mom needed to write a book about a talking cat. I know she was referring to me and my blog posts here. I need to clarify the facts. I don’t actually talk like people do. No one else could actually hear me talk the way I do with Mom. Dad only passes that bar occasionally, but that is more due to his strokes than my abilities to talk to him. The truth is Mom thinks that I talk, but really it is just a unique form of communication. Many cats purr or meow. I rarely do either of those things. I am one of the more refined cats who communicate by placing my placing my thoughts directly into my Mom’s brain. She is sensitive to me, and can receive my signals without too much effort. She often uses her voice to talk with me (usually when she uses the word “No”), but our best communication is non verbal. I say that I am whispering in her ear, but I just like to rub against her ear when I am sending her my thought. Thus, I can make my blog posts because Mom does such a good job of listening to me.

Today she has been excited to tell me about the new page and links she has added to her website. People who are new to my story can go directly to my 1st post and read from there without a lot of work. If you want to share my story with friends, here is that direct link: Murphy Jones – Oldest to Newest Posts I hope you have as much fun reading these, as I do writing them!
