Part 36 – It is Sunday

Sunday means that I get to share my view of the world with my online friends. I haven’t gone viral yet, but I’m not sure that is why Mom and I write this blog. I know she worries about my diagnosis of cancer. It doesn’t help that I can’t seem to keep my weight up. I think I look good at 10 lbs rather than my pudgy 15 lbs before the surgery. She says I have a bony ass. Since I can’t look at myself from above as she does, I can’t really say she is wrong. She keeps buying different foods for me to try. I would rather eat my regular dried food. This week she is trying a vitamin supplement gel that is designed to “support healthy appetite.” I can’t say that I’m impressed, but we shall see.

I’m surprised that Mom was willing to write this post. She was signing books at the Bonham Creative Arts Center’s holiday bazaar. She said that she met lots a wonderful people there, and was surprised when one of them was a reader who bought a book at an event there over a year ago. The woman was ready for the next book! That made Mom very happy. I know she talks to far more people than just those who buy a book. That is both enjoyable and tiring for her. Although they normally go shopping, I think they will stay home today. Maybe we can curl up and watch a movie. I like that because we get to snuggle. I’ll admit that is one of my favorite things. It is almost as good as being wrapped in the blankets in the van. Both times I get to feel warm and safe.
