Life in our area of Texas has become a daily discussion about the weather. We have had either Heat Advisories or Severe Thunderstorm warnings. This morning is cool after yesterday’s storm that dumped 2.5 inches of rain in 5 hours. The ground is saturated from the storms we had daily this last week. Our back yard becomes a pond. I’m sure the crayfish to hang out there are happy.
The temperature is expected to hit the mid 90s today and then upper 90s for the next week. I won’t be scheduling any book signing events until next month at the earliest!
