Today is one of my favorite events for the summer. A Dallas based antique car club makes a driving loop through our area of NE Texas. They started doing this 53 years ago. The loop includes stops are a variety of small towns to do a little shopping or general site seeing. They stop in our area for their picnic lunch. Prior to that they make a stop at the remaining building from the 1890 ghost town of Bug Tussle, TX. We joined in the trek one year, but now settle for admiring the collection of cars. It is not everyday that a car show comes to us!
